1) prepares health reports for supervisor, head of school.

2) provides first aid care and medically prescribed services.

3) maintains security of school health supplies.

4) serves as a resource person on health issues.

5) provides staff development on health-related topics for school staff and volunteers.

6) negotiates professional and medical services essential to the school health program.

7) initiates school health program changes as needed and manages program allotment efficiently.

8) screens and conducts health appraisals for students and staff.

9) provides follow-up evaluations on students as required.

10) recommends corrective action where problems are identified.

11) conducts home visits when appropriate.

12) corresponds with parents on health needs of children.

13) records immunizations, health findings, and other relevant health data.
