也许，淘气包马小跳，这个名字，早已家喻户晓。马小跳——一个快乐天真，善良真诚的学生。他身上还具备着一个惊人的想象力与创造力。正是这个想象力与创造力让每天的太阳都是新鲜的。
《淘气包马小跳》，是名气当当的杨红樱笔下的作品，作品幽默诙谐，不仅让所有的孩子们喜爱，还得到了广大师生的好评。
在这本书中，马小跳与丁文涛可谓是天壤之别。马小跳是一个有创造力，有爱心的调皮蛋。而丁文涛呢，是一个自会死记硬背。只读死书，不管窗外事的斯文学生。每次遇到危险时，马小跳总能像爱迪生一样，急中生智，转危为安。就是创造力。丁文涛呢，每天在家里小和尚念经——有口无心。每天在家都是安全的。所以没有经历困难，痛苦挫折。一旦遇到了，头就“永垂不起”不知道该怎么办。

三至五岁时，我听妈妈说，那时候的我最爱喝“ad”钙奶，每次都要喝好几瓶，然后再把空瓶子推在一起开始自己玩起来。
五至八岁期间，根据我自己的回忆，爸爸给我买了一盒积木，有许多块小木块，我便一个人将这些小木块拼成自己喜欢的东西。我拼了房子又拼车子，还嫌不够，又拼了高楼，还拼出了大厦，然后再拼个什么机器人……
八至十岁时，我开始玩塑料的积木。这下，我的创造力更强了。我拼了卫星再拼车子，不过现在的车子是能动的啦。拼了车子再拼剑，还拼个巨大的机器人和螃蟹，然后让他们上演一场世界大战。

i've always been an optimist and i suppose that is rooted in my belief that the power of creativity and intelligence can make the world a better place. for as long as i can remember, i've loved learning new things and solving problems. so when i sat down at a computer for the first time in seventh grade, i was hooked. it was a clunky old teletype machine and it could barely do anything compared to the computers we have today. but it changed my life. when my friend paul allen and i started microsoft 30 years ago, we had a vision of 'a computer on every desk and in every home,' which probably sounded a little too optimistic at a time when most computers were the size of refrigerators. but we believed that personal computers would change the world. and they have. and after 30 years, i'm still as inspired by computers as i was back in seventh grade. i believe that computers are the most incredible tool we can use to feed our curiosity and inventiveness —— to help us solve problems that even the smartest people couldn't solve on their own. computers have transformed how we learn, giving kids everywhere a window into all of the world's knowledge. they're helping us build communities around the things we care about and to stay close to the people who are important to us, no matter where they are. like my friend warren buffett, i feel particularly lucky to do something every day that i love to do. he calls it 'tap-dancing to work.' my job at microsoft is as challenging as ever, but what makes me 'tap-dance to work' is when we show people something new, like a computer that can recognize your handwriting or your speech, or one that can store a lifetime's worth of photos, and they say, 'i didn't know you could do that with a pc!' but for all the cool things that a person can do with a pc, there are lots of other ways we can put our creativity and intelligence to work to improve our world. there are still far too many people in the world whose most basic needs go unmet. every year, for e_ample, millions of people die from diseases that are easy to prevent or treat in the developed world. i believe that my own good fortune brings with it a responsibility to give back to the world. my wife, melinda, and i have committed to improving health and education in a way that can help as many people as possible. as a father, i believe that the death of a child in africa is no less poignant or tragic than the death of a child anywhere else. and that it doesn't take much to make an immense difference in these children's lives. i'm still very much an optimist, and i believe that progress on even the world's toughest problems is possible —— and it's happening every day. we're seeing new drugs for deadly diseases, new diagnostic tools, and new attention paid to the health problems in the developing world. i'm e_cited by the possibilities i see for medicine, for education and, of course, for technology. and i believe that through our natural inventiveness, creativity and willingness to solve tough problems, we're going to make some amazing achievements in all these areas in my lifetime. 我天生乐观，坚信人类凭创造力和聪明才智可以让世界日益美妙，这一设想一直根植于我的内心深处。 自从记事起，我就热衷于接触新事物、挑战难题。

大家好：
我是艺术家，当然这就涉及到创造力，所以我们今天其实想讲的一个主题是关于创造力的。
人的创造力，它其实有一个基础。这个基础就是你这个人必须是一个对人类命运关注的人，你是一个有感觉的人，如果你这人没有感觉，你对生活很满足，或者你觉得生活中没有问题，你这人就不会有创造力。
我下面讲一个作品，题目叫《何处惹尘埃》。这个作品实际上是我用9·11的这个双塔倒下来时候的尘埃，做的一个作品。因为我当时生活在纽约，我的工作室在布鲁克林，我亲眼看着这两栋大楼倒下来，而且我亲眼看到第二架飞机怎么样撞进第二栋大楼里面的。所以当时隔着河，我们看这两栋大楼倒下来的时候，其实说实话，这种感觉是非常特殊的。因为很像美国的大片，你都不能够说你是在现实中，还是在虚幻的大片当中。但是第二天早晨出门的时候，真的给我很大的触动。我的右手边，我习惯了的这样的一个庞然大物，居然没有了。我感觉这个世界开始失衡了，我当时很明确地意识到，从今天开始，世界变化了。但是作为一个艺术家，怎么样面对这样的一个事件，我应该做点儿什么呢?
我当时就去纽约的下城收集了一包由于世贸大厦倒塌以后的尘埃，其实不知道干吗用，但是过了一段时间，六祖慧能的一首诗：“菩提本无树，明镜亦非台，本来无一物，何处惹尘埃。”这句诗其实给我很多的启发，让我想到我那个工作室底下存着一包尘埃，当时我就想到做这么一件作品。
最早是在英国威尔士的国家博物馆做的。但是当时有一个问题，就是怎么样把这些尘埃从纽约带到威尔士去?我就想了一个办法，我就把这些尘埃用我女儿的一个小娃娃，给它做了一个模子，然后把尘埃做石膏粉一样的，翻制了一个小的人形，我带着这个人形就去了威尔士，到威尔士以后，再把它磨成粉末，然后再吹到展厅里面。
9·11这个双塔为什么在顷刻之间可以夷为平地，实际上当然是恐怖袭击的起因，是政治的这种失衡或者经济利益的驱使，而让这两栋大楼开始爆炸。它实际上都是在探讨今天这个世界的问题，和这个世界应该是怎么样共处的。
我举这个作品的例子，我是想说我们必须是一个对世界的命运和人类命运关注的人。你的创造力其实来自于你的激情，就是你对人类命运的关忧，这是非常重要的。
创造力从哪儿来?我有没有创造力?实际上是每一个人关心的。
我想通过我三十多年的艺术创作的体会和经验，我想跟大家分享一下这个课题。
八十年代的时候，中国有一个文化热的现象。因为刚刚开放，每一个年轻人或知识分子，其实都是对知识是非常渴望的。那我也确实是积极地、大量地参与了这个文化热的讨论、阅读、去听各种各样的讲演，最后好像我自己有的东西反倒丢失了。所以我就很想做一本自己的书，来表达我对文化这个事儿、对阅读这个事儿的体会。这就是刚才小撒开始谈到过的那本《天书》，这本书是由四册组成的，它是由四千多个我自己设计、刻制、印刷的伪汉字，我管它叫伪汉字，印刷出来的一套书。
这个装置当时在中国美术馆展出，我把这个代表中国文化的一种尊严，放在一个像祭坛一样的位置上，但是它的荒诞性就在于却读不出任何的内容。所以有些人就在问，为什么徐冰要做这么一本书?说他以前是一个学院的训练中非常好的一个学生。因为，我的先生其实对我都是很好的，很爱护我的，他们就觉得太可惜了，说：“这么一个好的苗子，好像他误入歧途了，他好像路走歪了，本来他可以成为一个很好的艺术家，最后怎么去搞这些乱七八糟的东西。”
当时其实北京的艺术界，其实有一些比较保守的艺术界人士，他们在批判《天书》这件作品，觉得这个作品是属于“鬼打墙”的艺术。鬼打墙的意思大家可能知道，就是这个人的思维是有问题了，钻了牛角尖了。但是我觉得一个作品，其实它有价值是因为，它给你提供了一个空间，让你把你的思维都装进去。
