every friend! have you heard of white dream ?perhaps , you think hope is green, youth is red, and dream is only natural gold!but , i think medical workers' dream is white.

you're likely to say : white stands for blank, white symbolizes poverty. but, i will tell you white also signifies creation! white also is the embodiment of vast and pureness.

people usually speak highly of medical workers as angels in white. because in their mind , medical workers are upright , kind, selfless and friendly.

despite the rumour and social prejudice, nantingger gave up her rich physical life, firmly, committing herself to nusing career. in this way, she destronmasted the glory of white dream.

benqiuen strode over country boundaries, devoting himself to medical career without hestion.

e_tremly beautiful scenery often e_ists in dangerous and high mountains.e_tremly grand music is always dismal. e_tremly noble life frequently lies in heroic sacrifice.in a sense, isn't medical workers' job great? if one can sacrifice his life for human, isn't he or she happy? as it going: if there isn't inveteracy, there isn't prosperous leaves and sweet-smelling flowers, if there isn't headstream and flowing water, thereisn't rapids and waterfall, if there isn't medical workers' hard work, there isn't good and healthy life of people.

in a word, no matter what situation we might face, we must stick to the white dream.

good morning, it's my honor to stand here and give you this speech about dreams. there i want to start my speech with two short stories.

the first story happened when i was in primary school, i wrote in my composition that my dream was to be a teacher when i grew up. meanwhile, what my classmates wrote about their dreams was that he or she wanted to be a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut.

the second story happened at my first year in university. at the careers planning class, when the teacher asked about our dreams, one of my classmates stood up and said, “i want to be a farmer, because i grow up in a farmer's family and i love to be engaged in agriculture.” when he sat down, everyone clapped.

these two stories happened during my growth process, from which i got my understanding of dreams. when i was a child i believed that a dream must be a big dream, but when i grow up i find this big dream is so far away from me, i know little about it, and i have done nothing to achieve it, so it's not my dream. my classmate's answer let me know a real dream is not just about being a great man, or doing a great job, it's about what you really want to be, and are willing to try every effort to pursue it.

because what makes a dream valuable is not just about the result, it's also about the process, the process when you are trying, when you are struggling, when you failed and restarted again and again, because of the process, dreams can be meaningful and become your wealth.

thank you.

i always feel tired after eight classes a day, so my dream school starts at 8:30 a。m。 and ends at 3:30 p。m。 there are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon。 we can choose our favorite lessons to learn。 we can spend more time doing some outside reading。 the students do after-school activities for one and a half hours every day。 we needn’t do a lot of homework。 we are all happy to stay at school。

besides that, my dream school looks like a big garden。 there are many kinds of flowers around the modern buildings。 sweet perfumes are diffused all around。 if i want to have a rest, i can lie on the grass, listen to music by the lake or look out at the flowers from the classroom windows。

the teachers here are kind and helpful。 they are not only our teachers but also our good friends。 the students are polite and friendly。 we all know how to keep our school clean and tidy。 there is no litter around the campus。

i love my dream school。 we will grow up to be happier there。

my great pleasure to share my dream with you today.i have kept the dream in my mind for so long that whoever in the sun is able to live a happy life for ever.

i think this dream is deeply rooted in the future. as we can see, we are now not far away from violence, poverty, diseases, environmental pollution and even wars. most of people are in need of what they have never enjoyed. however, i still can stick to my innermost dream, as i still can see the bright lights in our future. i believe, there will be a day when those from the rich counties are really willing to share what they have with those from the poor countries; there will be a day when we are surprised to find that the word poverty has long been out of our memories; there will be a day when we are together to share our dreams and we will all contribute to making our common dreams come true.

i will not just wait but to take action to live in my dream.

the world changed when james watt invented the first steam engine, when isaac newton discovered the universal gravitation after hit by an apple, when karl mar_ wrote the communist manifesto, when chairman mao solemnly declared the establishment of the people's republic of china on the tian'anmen rostrum, when martin luther king cried out “i have a dream”. the world was changed by something called dream, which is invisible, untouchable but strong enough.

i can assure that every child have written a composition titled my dream. they have already written down their longing for the future. some of them want to become scientists; some of them hope to become teachers or doctors. maybe they didn’t know how many difficulties they will face before their dream come true. but the dreams are like small seeds planted in their hearts; like the beacon in the sea that lead them to their destinations.

dream is the fountain of strength. dream is the support of faith. dream is the polaris. dream reminds us to move forward, to struggle, to strive all the time. one of my friends told me that dream will never discard anyone! yes, maybe one day everything is gone but dreams is still there with you, eternally.

dream changed us, and therefore we changed the world. it is dream that refreshes the world every day. it is also dream that makes the world improve day by day. we dare to dream. we can also achieve our dreams and change the world.

i can’t imagine the world without dreams. how about you

everybody has a dream for the future,so do i.when i was a child ,someone told me 'dream'the word.i have been thinking what dream is.when i grow up,i know it is the highest top that everybody needs

to try his best to reach.what's more,it's hard to reach.the meaning of the dream is difficult to say clearly, but it consists in every corner of life.

what's my dream ,can you guess

now let me tell you, becoming a doctor is my dream .

why do i want to be a doctor because i think health is very important for the people.if they are ill,i can help them, and i will try my best to save the patients' lives and make them keep healthy.

but it is not easy to be a good doctor.i must study hard now and get ready for my dream.i believe i can make my dream come true.

ladies and gentlemen:

it’s my great honor to stand here to share my speech with you. today the topic of my speech is: the pursuit of dream.

now let’s think of our old days as we were students in primary schools. have you ever remembered that the teachers often ask questions as “what’s your dream?”, or “what are you want to be in the future?” and what’s your answer in that childish and fantastic age? has anyone of you answered like this: “i want to be a painter”, or “i want to be a scientist”, or “i plan to be a police”?

a few years later, we start our new journey of study in high schools and become mature and practical in our mind. then, have you ever changed your dreams? if so, what’s it?

but now, i think, most of us become down-to-earth and the dream is more practical than before. however, have you taken actions to pursue your dream? are you working hard enough to make your dream come true?

as for myself, i have dreamed to be an e_cellent police in high school due to there are so many thefts in my hometown while they are seldom caught. sooner i have realized how ridiculous am i and now i turn to realistic: i just want to be a translator.

how do i pursue my dream?

first of all, i try my best to correct the pronunciation and read the te_tbook or other english magazines such as: english weekly, english salon and the like. i try to do this day by day. now i have improved my reading ability a lot and it also enlarged my vocabulary.

secondly, i often do some translating e_tension and embrace my teacher’s suggestion. it benefits me much.

last but not the least, i realize my dream by reading chinese literature. maybe you will say it’s what the chinese major students should do. if you say so, you are badly wrong. for as an english major student, how can you know others well if you even don’t familiar with your country? on the other hand, it also benefits me in translation and writing.

in a word, i have already working in my dream. what about you?

that’s all. thank you.

five score years ago, a great american, in whose symbolic shadow we stand signed the emancipation proclamation. this momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. it came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of captivity.

but one hundred years later, we must face the tragic fact that the negro is still not free. one hundred years later, the life of the negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. one hundred years later, the negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. one hundred years later, the negro is still languishing in the corners of american society and finds himself an e_ile in his own land. so we have come here today to dramatize an appalling condition.

in a sense we have come to our nation's capital to cash a check. when the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the constitution and the declaration of independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every american was to fall heir. this note was a promise that all men would be guaranteed the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

it is obvious today that america has defaulted on this promissory note insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. instead of honoring this sacred obligation, america has given the negro people a bad check which has come back marked 'insufficient funds.' but we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. we refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation.

so we have come to cash this check -- a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

we have also come to this hallowed spot to remind america of the fierce urgency of now. this is no time to engage in the lu_ury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. now is the time to open the doors of opportunity to all of god's children. now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.

it would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment and to underestimate the determination of the negro. this sweltering summer of the negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. nineteen si_ty-three is not an end, but a beginning.

those who hope that the negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. there will be neither rest nor tranquility in america until the negro is granted his citizenship rights. the whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

but there is something that i must say to my people who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice. in the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.

we must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. we must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. again and again we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

the marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the negro community must not lead us to distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny and their freedom is ine_tricably bound to our freedom.

we cannot walk alone.and as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall march ahead. we cannot turn back. there are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, 'when will you be satisfied?' we can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. we cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. we can never be satisfied as long as a negro in mississippi cannot vote and a negro in new york believes he has nothing for which to vote. no, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream.

good morning/afternoon, dear teachers and my friends. i’m a student from no.2 middle school of qugou. my name is zhao bingjie. i’m very glad to stand here to make a short speech for you. today my speech topic is “embrace the dream”.

many people have a dream about the future besides me. i had a beautiful dream since i was a young little girl. i really want to be an outstanding writer like guo jingming in the future, because i liked reading very much when i was a child. so, i practice writing articles in my free time, by doing that i feel very comfortable. i love my dream and i will try my best to make my dream come true.

it’s about my dream, what about you? do you have a dream? do you think everyone has their own dreams? in fact, you are wrong. many people never thought about future and what they will be like. they never have a dream . it’s not good for them. only have dreams, then we can know what we should do for our dreams and try our best to make them true. so, it’s important and necessary to have a dream.

someone once said that success comes from a dream. so, fellow students, let’s have a dream, and embrace the dream. then, we will have a beautiful tomorrow!

my speech is over, thanks for your listening.

i am grateful for the opportunity to deliver my speech here after 7-days’ preparation with my friend jinly. thanks to jinly’s strong support in our work. i think it is my way of saying thank you to you that giving an e_cellent presentation to all my friends here.

the subject of our presentation is “your dream & your goal”. during the ne_t 10 minutes, we’ll give you a brief e_planation of these stuff at the best of our knowledge.

first of all, i’d like to spent 3 or 5 minutes on discussing about the dream. when we were 5, they asked us what we want to be when we grow up. we answered like superman, princess, or in my case, a sailor moon. when we were 10, again they asked and the answer was policemen, doctors and some other high-principled jobs. but unfortunately, we finally found our dreams unrealistic as we entered a not-so-good high school, did not-so-good school works and went to a not-so-good direction in our life. i guess, many of you have thought about changing your dreams, but finally felt at a loss again. yep! we’re adults and they are waiting for a serious answer. well, how about this? who the hell knows! dream is only a dream. it’s unnecessary for us to think over our dreams all day long. you know, dreams always change, and this is not the time to make difficult decisions. but what do dreams do? why do we still have an urgent need of dreams?

think about it: do you have had a time when you were full of happiness just because you have made an achievement that pushes you a bit to your dream? do you have had a time when you insist on what you were doing even the tears keep falling from your eyes? that is the power from dreams! may i equate the faith and the dream here? as we all know, aims and dreams are far from each other to some e_tent but close to each other on the other hand. just like the parabola and the number line in mathematics. but it is the dream that help us to map out our aim and work out plans one after another in our life. just like what howard schultz, the founder of the starbuck said, dreams are like the stars----we never reach them, but like mariners, we chart our course by them. and i believe that if you have a dream and make efforts step by step, some of you may e_tremely finish the quantitative change on the way to success and reach the qualitative change!

i would like to finish my part by a tongue twister: whether the weather be fine or whether the weather be not. whether the weather be cold or whether the weather be hot. we'll weather the weather whether we like it or not. whatever you dreams are and however difficult it is to realize them. reach your aim step by step and i believe your dreams will e_tremely come into truth!

thank you for your lending an attentive ear to my point of view. let’swelcome jinly and she will talk about the goal, which is the other part of our presentation, during the ne_t 5 minutes.

forgive my stupid words and it’s my pleasure to answer any of your questions after class!

you have been a very attentive audience---- thank you~!

socrates once said: the happiest thing in the world, is to struggle for the ideal。 it is to strive for the ideal, hocking became the theoretical physicist。 the ideal is everyone on the road to success mentor, to strive, to realize our dreams。 is ideal for lose confidence to the life of people to see the beauty of life, is ideal for unemployed people find a way to survive, the ideal is that we find myself in the future。 johnson wrote: one man 's ideal aspiration is often directly proportional to his ability。 so we should use our ability to lay the foundation for our ideal, prove that we have for the ideal, struggle, pay。 our dreams may be a scientist, because we think that science is the symbol of wisdom, science brings people is simple; our ideals may also be the teacher, teaching children to knowledge, cultivate the talents for the country to。 our dreams may also be......

there is a poem: bao jianfeng from sharpening out, plum blossom from the bitter cold。 ideals are like the poem, to put the ideal into reality, will e_perience frustration and failure to know not what one can achieve the ideal, the same as the sword after numerous polished becomes a sharp sword, also like the plum blossom in the snow will have a scent of flowers。

let us for the ideal and strong。
