my great pleasure to share my dream with you today. my dream is to become a teacher....

as the whole world has its boundaries, limits and freedom coe_ist in our life. i don’t e_pect complete freedom, which is impossible. i simply have a dream that supports my life.

hello, everybody, my name is _ue yinjie. i'm 12 years old. i study at fenghuang primary school. i'm in class 1 grade 6. i go to school at 7 o'clock every morning. we read english everyday. there are three lessons in the morning. we have lunch at 11 o'clock. after lunch, we have a rest. the lessons in the afternoon are much more interesting. there are art lesson, computer studies, music lesson and science lesson. we leave school at four.

everybody, let me show you around my school. my school is not big, but it's very beautiful. there is a broad road in the center of the school. in the two sides of the road, there are many green trees and beautiful flowers. in the left side of the road, there are two teaching buildings and a meeting hall. teachers often get together every monday afternoon. there are about 24 classrooms in our school, included two computer rooms and an art room. we like computer studies very much. we can surf the internet and play computer games, and sometimes we write emails to each other. in front of the teaching building, there is a river. we can see big ships on it, and it always makes noise. around the rive, there are some flowers and trees. in spring, we can see many butterflies and other insects. we watch they dance in the flowers. they dance so beautifully. in summer, we can catch grasshoppers between the grass. we have great fun there. in the right side of the road ,there is a library and a big playground. there are many kinds of books in the library. after lunch, we often go to the library to find some interesting books. we often read books about animals and interesting stories. we can learn a lot from the books. we do morning e_ercise everyday, and we like doing e_ercise. in the free time, we often play football and basketball. last month, we had a sports meeting, we were all very e_cided, especially when we saw the teacher's running race.

chinese dream was put forward by chairman _i last year in order to direct chinese to a clear future.for the whole nation, it means increasing the level of living.for every single chinese , it means realizing the value of lifethe realization of the whole nation’s dream can not be separated from everybody’s own dream. only by everyone’s efforts can we make the nationy’s dream come true.

for our young people, we are supposed to have our own dream. what is dream? the famous chinese economist lang_ianping has ever said that:”please do not e_pect too munch about chinese students, because they don’t have dream. they only want to find a common job to earn money for a house or a car. they only have a target、purpose、or goal. they don’t have dream. purpose is not dream.

dream is developed by your warm heart instead of cheating your eyes in the e_cuse of earning money! a dream is a clear spiritual lighthouse that gives out direction when you do not know what to e_pect in the days ahead and offers comfort and support when you become doubtful of yourself.

matt and his wife lived in the country. matt was very stingy and hated spending money. one day a fair came to the nearby town.

'let’s go to the fair, matt,' his wife said. 'we haven’t been anywhere for a long time.'

matt thought about this for a while. he knew he would have to spend money at the fair. at last he said, 'all right, but i’m not going to spend much money. we’ll look at things, but we won’t buy anything. '

they went to the fair and looked at all the things to buy. there were many things matt’s wife wanted to buy, but he would not let her spend any money.

then, in a nearby field, they saw a small airplane.

'fun flights!' the notice said, ' $$ 10 for 10 minutes.

matt had never been in an airplane and he wanted to go on a fun flight. however, he didn’t want to have to pay for his wife, as well.

'i’ve only got $$ 10, ' he told the pilot. 'can my wife come with me for free?' the pilot wasn’t selling many tickets, so he said, 'i’ll make a bargain with you. if your wife doesn’t scream or shout, she can have a free flight.'

matt agreed, and got into the small airplane with his wife.

the pilot took off and made his airplane do all kinds of things. at one moment it was flying upside down.

when the plane landed, the pilot said, '0. k. your wife didn’t make a sound. she can have her ride free.'

'thank you,' matt said. 'it wasn’t easy for her, you know, especially when she fell out.'
